Goal

The goal of the Career Advancement Mentoring Program for Young Entrepreneurs and Scholars (CAMP-YES) is to prepare academically talented, financially challenged junior and senior STEM students to successfully transition to the workforce or graduate school or create a start-up venture upon completion of a baccalaureate degree in a STEM discipline.

Benefits

CAMP-YES students will gain mentorship, networking opportunities, and work/team experience that traditional classes may not provide.

For example:

1. If you are in the Internship Path and plan to continue on to graduate school instead of or concurrently with employment, we can connect you with workshops to prepare you for graduate school.

2. If you are in the Research Path and want to know how to commercialize a product based on a research project, senior design product, personal product idea, etc., we can connect you with education programs on entrepreneurship through the Blackstone Launchpad.

3. If you are in the Entrepreneurship Path and plan to continue on to graduate school to gain advanced knowledge in your specialty, we can connect you with workshops to prepare you for graduate school.
